Registration and Refund Policy

No Refund Policy: MedTech Asia adheres to a strict no refund policy for event registrations. This policy is crucial for ensuring the financial stability and integrity of our planning, allowing us to deliver a high-quality experience to all attendees.

No Reimbursement of Transaction Fees: Attendees should be aware that credit card transaction fees are non-refundable. MedTech Asia will not reimburse any fees associated with registration transactions.

Transferability of Registration: Recognizing the dynamic schedules of our attendees, MedTech Asia allows for the transfer of registrations to another individual without any additional cost, provided we are notified in writing at least 14 days before the event. This policy is designed to offer flexibility to our participants while ensuring a stable attendance.

Bookings Compensation in Event of Cancellation: MedTech Asia will consider compensation for direct bookings of hotel and airplane accommodations made for the event, provided these bookings are made within five weeks prior to the event date. Eligibility for compensation requires proof of booking and payment, and evidence that the cancellation was not reimbursed through other means, such as travel insurance.

Policy on Event Postponement: In the case of MedTech Asia being postponed, all existing registrations will be honored for the new event date, ensuring attendees retain access to the event without requiring any additional actions.

Policy on False Claims

Zero Tolerance for False Claims: MedTech Asia takes all claims regarding bookings, registrations, and event-related activities very seriously. Any false claims made by attendees or registrants will be rigorously investigated. Individuals found to have made false claims will face severe consequences, including being banned from all future MedTech events. This measure is to maintain the integrity of our events and ensure fairness and transparency for all participants.

General Policies to Limit Risk and Protect Organizational Interests

Force Majeure Clause: MedTech Asia is not liable for failures to perform its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including mechanical failures, electronic or communication breakdowns, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

Limitation of Liability: The liability of MedTech Asia and its affiliates is limited to the registration fee paid. MedTech Asia will not be liable for any indirect damages, including but not limited to lost profits.

Indemnification: Attendees agree to indemnify MedTech Asia against any claims arising from their participation in the event, protecting the organization from liability, costs, and damages.

Changes to Event Schedule: MedTech Asia reserves the right to adjust the event schedule or content as necessary. Attendees will be informed of significant changes whenever possible.

Privacy Policy: Attendee information will be managed in compliance with applicable data protection regulations and will not be shared without consent, except as necessary for event logistics.

By registering for MedTech Asia, attendees acknowledge their agreement to these terms, ensuring a mutual understanding of the policies set to facilitate a successful and enjoyable event for everyone involved.
