Dr. Miyauchi is President and COO of Kuma Hospital, Center for Excellence in Thyroid Care, Kobe, Japan. He is an endocrine surgeon, especially interested in thyroid and parathyroid diseases. He earned his MD and PhD at Osaka University Medical School. He was Associate Professor of Department of Surgery, Kagawa Medical University. He is currently serving as President of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons and Immediate-past Chairman of the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons.

Dr. Stefano Spiezia leads Endocrine Surgery at Naples’ “Sea Hospital” and teaches at the University of Turin. A European pioneer in thyroid nodule thermal ablation, he’s renowned for minimally invasive techniques. As a key figure in SIUMB, he champions ultrasound advancements. Dr. Erivelto Volpi is a Head and Neck Surgeon specializing in thyroid and parathyroid diseases. He trained at the Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo, dedicating 30 years to both practice and education. He’s a pioneer in Brazil for Minimally Invasive Thyroidectomy, having trained at the University of Pisa. In 2018, he mastered Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) in Seoul with Prof. Baek. Dr. Bülent Çekiç, a renowned expert in thyroid thermal ablation, has treated 3500+ cases using microwave and radiofrequency ablation since 2013. He’s published 8 articles on Pubmed about it. Beyond clinical work, he’s organized 21 workshops on the subject, training 110+ doctors globally. He’s presented at international congresses like CCMA, CIRSE, and PAIRS. Recently, he introduced thyroid artery embolization for Plonjuan and diffuse goiter, treating 70 cases. Dr. Hossam Ghazi, Ph.D., serves as an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Mansoura Faculty in Egypt. He holds the esteemed position of a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes. Dr. Ghazi has furthered his education and expertise with a Postgraduate Diploma in Endocrinology from South Wales University, UK, and another Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes from Cardiff University, UK. His professional interests lie in the use of Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), Laser, and Microwave ablation techniques for the treatment of benign thyroid nodules and parathyroid adenoma.

Dr. Cristhian García’s experience is rooted in a strong educational foundation. He is a specialist in Head and Neck Surgery from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Furthering his expertise, Dr. García pursued a Master’s in Thyroid Radiofrequency Ablation from Asan Hospital in South Korea and holds a Medical Degree from the Central University of Ecuador.

Dr. Thanyawat Sasanakietkul is a specialist at the Thyroid and Thyroid Surgery Center in Praram 9 Hospital. He’s an expert in head, neck, breast, and endocrine gland surgeries. His education spans from Srinakharinwirot University’s Faculty of Medicine in 2008 to advanced training in endocrine surgery at Yale School of Medicine, USA, in 2017. He also specialized at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in 2015.

Shuhang Xu holds a Doctorate degree and serves as an Associate Professor at the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China. With a passion for advancing the field of Chinese medicine, Dr. Xu has dedicated years of research and teaching, contributing significantly to the academic community in Nanjing and beyond.

Dra. Lorena Savluk is a staff physician at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires (HIBA), specializing in Diagnostic Imaging. A trained Interventional Radiologist, she earned her medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences (UNLP) and her specialization from SAR and UBA. Her expertise is further enriched by overseas training in Spain, the United Kingdom, and Italy. She is a member of the Argentine Society for Diagnostic Imaging and the Argentine College of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (CARVI).

Dr. Ming-An Yu received the Ph.D. degree in imaging and nuclear medicine with People‘s Liberation Army Medical College, Beijing, China, in 2011. He completed postdoctoral work with the Cancer Center of Chinese People’s Liberation Army General Hospital, in 2013. He is a Physician Associate Professor with the Department of Interventional Ultrasound Medicine, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Beijing. His research interests include minimally invasive ablation and imaging diagnosis.

Dr. Gaurav Gangwani is an Interventional Radiologist (a vascular specialist) based in Mumbai who treats multiple diseases or conditions without any invasive surgery. He travels to multiple hospitals across Mumbai like Saifee Hospital, Surana group of hospitals, Namaha Hospital, ACE hospital and centers like Unity, Excel and Quantum chain of diagnostics. He is one of the few doctors who offers ablation-based treatment for thyroid nodules, breast fibroadenomas, uterine fibroids, liver metastasis and many more. He also offers angiography-based embolization treatment for high grade varicocele, enlarged prostates (BPH) and uterine fibroids. He does a lot of interventions for dialysis patients from permcath insertions to salvaging fistulas that don’t work optimally and also inserts chemoports for cancer patients

Dr. Karthik is the Director of Vascular & Interventional Radiology at MIOT Hospitals International in Chennai, India. He earned his medical degree from Madras Medical College, completed postgraduate training in the UK, and obtained memberships and fellowships from prestigious medical organizations. He has extensive experience, including a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, UK consultancy, and work in Singapore. Dr. Karthik played a key role in establishing interventional radiology services at Sengkang General Hospital in Singapore. He has published over 25 research articles and spoken at international conferences. Currently, he leads interventional radiology services at MIOT Hospitals International, a large quaternary care hospital.
